We are pleased to inform you that Daleys Dental Practice can now accept referrals to:
Dr Obyda Essam
BDS (Newcastle University) MJDF RCS (Eng), Honorary StR in Endodontics – GDC 192271
Obyda Essam qualified from Newcastle University in 2010 with Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
and worked in a number of general dental practices in the North East. He later continued his postgraduate career pathway and gained Membership of the Joint Dental Faculty at the Royal College of Surgeons in London (MJDF RCS Eng) in 2012.
Working in multidisciplinary practice, Obyda developed a keen interest in Endodontics following several postgraduate courses. His experience in the field has given him particular skills in appreciating problems of diagnosis, treatment planning and case management often associated with teeth requiring root canal and other endodontic treatment.
Obyda has completed a 3 year full-time clinical speciality training at The University of Liverpool and he is currently an honorary Speciality Registrar in Endodontics at Liverpool University Dental Hospital. Pending the completion of his research component doctorate degree (DDsc Endondontics), Obyda is applying for his inclusion on the GDC specialist list early 2018. Aside from treating complex endodontic cases, he is actively involved in teaching and training undergraduate and postgraduate dental students at the hospital.
In addition to attending national and international conferences, Obyda is an active member of both the British Endodontic Society and the European Society of Endodontology. He continues to enjoy treating patients in a kind reassuring manner in all aspects of root canal treatments and dentistry.
Treatment Fees
- Consultation and investigation fee – £75 – waived if full treatment commenced
- Primary Endodontic Treatment – £600
- Retreatment’s – £645
- Post or fracture file removal – (+£95)
